RE:How much do they really want it?It's because of that 350mil binding aggreement that sealed my decision to join PPL. I've been on the IPL 'go it alone' war path this whole time. But when I saw that, it was if management enacted a poison pill against it's own shareholders to accept some kind of offer. 350mil is essentially the entire EBIDTA of 1year of Heartland production, that's no small amount. 

Sorry to say but I just don't think the go it alone option is out there. Best to join PPL now while market is still pricing in the chance of an escalating offer. As PPL share price increases when market wakes up and realizes this is only good for PPL, the all share deal will get better as it's relative to the PPL stock price.. 

That's the way I see it. I'm fully on board with PPL now, I really do wish all the best for people holding IPL though and if there is a third party out there that can help you guys out I think that's great, you deserve more.
