about NT warning

about NT warningthat bothers me the most is that I sold my position in CIC because I won't hold a stock within a month of its earnings for this very reason --- Earnings Warnings.... What NT did (warning after its earnings) goes against all reason and caught everybody by surprise. Kinda takes away any safe entry point in that stock. What NT did today shattered charts and reason. I've never owned it and never will. I will be buying CIC once I've seen CIC's earnings and can live with them. On a positive note, I see that CIC held up reasonably well. I'm sure that most investors see a floor of $20 assuming decent earnings and are comfortable with their purchases lately. I almost was tempted to buy into CIC today but held off (damn earnings rule). As a note, I got a hit with MCF back in September holding shares of that POS before earnings so I think the risk of jumping in now is too high for me. IMHO if CIC was going to have a problem they would likely have said so by now. CIC is a great company with lots of potential. I hope the earnings work out and this stock moves back up. Like I've said before if CIC breaks $20 look at what happened to WIN,CKY,CLQ,GAC,etc., etc., etc. Well, good luck to all :-)
