Capstone Copper Corp. is a copper producer operating in the Americas. It is engaged in the production of and exploration of base metals in the United States (US), Mexico, and Chile, with a focus on copper. The Company, through a wholly owned Chilean subsidiary, Mantos Copper S.A., owns and operates the Mantos Blancos mine, located 45 kilometers (km) northeast of Antofagasta, Chile and the 70%-owned Mantoverde mine, through a subsidiary, Mantoverde S.A., located 50 km southeast of Chanaral, Chile. Through Compania Minera Sierra Norte S.A., it owns 100% of Sierra Norte, an iron oxide copper gold deposit located in Chile's Atacama Region, that spans over 7,000 hectares.

That is like asking why a Granny Smith apple tastes different than a Macintosh apple.

They are different companies with different boards and different portfolios.  They likely also have significantly different timing on options that may be about to expire or time limits on their restricted shares.  Again you are focused on the insider selling for some reason.  I just showed you that their volume of sales cannot have materially moved the stock price, especially when spread out over three months.  They are also well within the bounds of smart investing to sell some shares at least to capture profirs and perhaps take initial capital back off the table.

As of today's close, IVN is also only about 4.5x its low price from last year whereas CS is about 14.5x its low from last year... and was even higher at the time of most insider sales.  Many people are capturing profits during this copper pullback.  It is a natural part of the cyle.  If copper goes back up, so will our share price.  We may even get a bump when Q2 numbers are released if the copper price remains steady.
