D-Box Technologies Inc T.DBO

Alternate Symbol(s):  DBOXF

D-BOX Technologies Inc. is engaged in the business of designing haptic and immersive experiences. The Company creates and redefines realistic, immersive experiences by moving the body and sparking the imagination through effects: motion, vibration and texture. Whether it’s films, video games, music, relaxation, virtual reality applications, metaverse experience, themed entertainment or professional simulation, the Company creates a feeling of presence that makes life resonate like never before. With unparalleled mastery of haptics, the Company offers the synchronization of body movements with images and sound, such as software haptic effects, haptic processor, and the haptic system. Software haptic effects are programmed as a track, frame by frame, in the case of linear content, or programmed as a library for interactive content. A haptic processor serving as an interface between the content and the haptic system recognizes the content being played.

RE:Reality check about D-Box's "first of its kind gaming chair"

RE:Reality check about D-Box's "first of its kind gaming chair"Actually Arcadeo is old news and it is not available for purchase anywhere. It was only in concept stage and the product is no where near to a haptic chair. It only vibrates which can cause motion sickness. Dbox on the other hand already has a proven concept (theater chair as well as Jaymar home recliner). Dbox chairs do not cause motion sickness, plus the content is developed and relayed in sync with the haptic feedback which makes Dbox product unique. Don't forget Cooler Master is well known in the Gaming industry, they won't not have partnered with Dbox if they did not see any value in the chair. No need to buy D-Box shares, lots of other stocks out there, this is a discussion forum only, no a sales forum to buy D-Box shares. People should always do their own research. Imo, GLTA.

Arcadeo introduced a haptic chair last year at CES 2020, and you can order one right now for only 800$USD.  And this is only one example...

This doesn't mean D-Box's chair won't have some success in the market but they are certainly not alone in this space and with their extremely weak marketing and communication track record, I sure am not holding my breath on this one.  Sure hope it doesn't turn out to be just another business exemple of a "savior product" that will not bring the high volume benefits they have been promising with pretty much every product they have developped in the last 20 years.

Do your own research, take pumpers' posts with a grain of salt and don't bet the bank on this company that have disappointed their investors for the last 20 years.
