RE:RE:RE:The parable of bananas and pumpkins. DRC vs Nevada:Well, I checked and they grow both pumpkins and bananas in Zambia (The country full of hungry people between IVN and the seaport) but mostly depend upon maize. You do realize that our "Pumpkin" down in the hollow is made of iron.
What I find interesting is that southern Africa is the other of the western pacific oscillation, and all evidence points toward increasing frequency and intensity of storms in the future. They can talk all they want about a 10-year, 20-year mine life, when it may only operate for a few years due to extreme weather events and widespread hunger. but that’s not a problem for the retail investor.
I sure don’t want to be invested in certain regions the next time any mine is cut off from the sea. Smart money will start taking environmental vulnerability into account in valuation as it should be.
