When Operations Start
KINGKING MINING CORPORATION UPDATES SOCIO-ECONOMIC STUDY
Kingking Mining Corporation (KMC) partnered with Far East Associates to update the Socio-Economic study, particularly in the Municipality of Pantukan, Davao De Oro to provide baseline understanding of the pre-mining operations locality and to search for possible impacts on the area when its mining operations start. The study has three (3) focus areas: (a) Impacts on labor and personal income; (b) Impacts on taxation and public finance; and (c) Impacts on the Community and Environment.
The results of the study will assist KMC management in determining the programs it will implement during its operations. Sen. Cynthia Villar, Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, appreciates mining companies that pursue these kinds of programs, as it shows their concern on the community and on the environment where they will conduct their operations.
