RE:RE:So, just how big is the stockpile??first off, I do want to thank you for answering (and correcting my sq feet to sq metres)
And I for one will choose to believe the MD&A over you. You are suggesting the MD&A hasn't been updated in that section for over 2 years...which...well....You might want to consider how you phrase things, as that is a significant accusation you just made.
So yes, the ariel survey dramatically increased the size of the stockpile. The corporate site has a depiction of the stockpile area, with a reference scale, which easily agrees with the 8200 sq meter area - and they already trenched it, so we know it is real...check for yourself, rough measurement is 200x50 = 10000 sq m.
it is found here, and is over 200m in length, and easily 50m wide (that alone gives you 10000 sq metres) - with a depth based on drilling, of up to 19.5m deep...Do the math on that one...

AND NOW FOR THE KICKER: Only
YOU have ever stated publically, and I have highlighted it your comment below that these holes "bottomed" ... the company has never stated this.
They contracted for "up to 300 m" only of drilling - and they had a grid plot spacing on the stockpile to drill. Relevant "official" company press release below..
https://stockhouse.com/news/press-releases/2021/01/25/providence-announces-stockpile-gold-results-up-to-165-g-t-au
so they had 34 pre-spaced holes to drill, and only 300 m of drilling contracted - and the deepest hole went 19.5metres, another 13.5m, another 10.5m....no-where have I read from anyone but you that these holes "bottomed"....but all but the first found gold - and that was probably a "oops, our bad" from the drilling company....
so, no, my dear givemeabreak - the MD&A is accurate; the stockpile isn't shallow, given 19.5m is quite deep, and inline with the aerial survey depth that was predicted for the stockpile.
so....
I will believe the company, and I love that this entire pile has gold...trenching showed gold; drilling showed gold; hand samples showed gold....
I love it!!

You are reading the MD&A incorrectly!
First it is historic in nature ie it covers the history of the stockpile! You will note that the section you are reading on page 4 starts August 2019!
So to put it in perspective intially they said the stockpile was an estimated 2683 sq meters. Then in a September news release everyone got excited when they came out with the idea that they got it wrong and the stockpile was much bigger than they initially thought and said in the news release that it was now estimated to be 8200 sq meters.
Since then of course other testing was done and the most important and latest was the drilling. While they did not like the drilling gold results and thought that it was not very accurate as to grade. It is however, very accurate to tell you the real depths of the stockpile. So if you look at the drill results and there were plenty the holes often bottomed between 3 and 10 metres so the stockpile was not very deep. Needless to say there original estimate was much closer to reality.
The final estimate used all methods and came up with 25000 cubic metres. ( I am assuming that is what you meant when you said square metres.
