RE:RE:Are Brookfield that tricky?As if the guys on stockhouse really make an impact on the overall scheme of things. With that said, if you believe IPL is worth more (which it is) then just hold onto IPL shares and vote down. If you don't trust that the majority of the shareholders will vote down the deals, then buy PPL or BIPC because they will be picking IPL at a cheap price and they'll be the ones the reap the benefits when heartland starts up. I personally sold some keyera a while back to buy more IPL because I thought IPL was significantly underpriced, but I also bought some PPL after their bid in case they managed to steal the company at a fire sale, nothing wrong with hedging a little bit.
