Remember, saliva tests have lower sensitivity, 80%. PCRs are well over 90%. I think they need to be like 95-96% or so.
What they are indicating, if you administer the test over the course of the week, its accuracy will reach the same as a PCR (ie. viral load).
I think it's about the differences in the minimum. Remember that it is lower for saliva. If your test is negative, you may/ may not have Covid. So, use the test again in 2-3 days. If you still have symptoms and you still feel bad, try again 2-3 days after that (the viral load will be higher) and you'll hit positive.
However, if it is positive - you have Covid because that stat was at 100%
