I'm in the states or NYC to be specific, where we really got smacked early on. Very sobering when otherwise healthy friends die and refridgerated semi-trailers filled with corpses are parked just around the corner. I found the advice dispensed by Osterholm to be consistently on point.
We're not out of this just yet. The Delta variant or B.1.617.2 will be arriving in #'s (North American Continent) this fall if not sooner. I'm an optimist by nature... after all, have been invested in BBRY/BB since late '14 (in and out), but I'm still very concerned. Not taking advantage of the vaccine is doing the world no favors. On common sense scale, it's right up there with believing the world is flat or thinking Trump won in '20. - dwolf
My wife & I get our 2nd shot today in Pickering. It's not where I live but there was a couple slots available so we took them. My take is this: Call it Occam's Razor if you wish, but think of getting the vax being like an atheist going to church.. One reason an atheist goes to church is to cover their behind in case they're wrong. I don't want to be wrong here, life means more to me than gods, vaccines, Illuminati, or green lizard perverts controlling the masses, so jab away.
