RE:Forward Bookings

RE:Forward BookingsCan you describe to me the advantages to increasing prices 7%? I know they have to to cover rising fuel and labour costs but I don't see the positive in reducing the ability of the customer to afford your service.

Definitely seeing a pricing jump for forward looking ticket bookings. And for the inflation camp, guess what.. North American air tickets are now coming in at around 7% higher price than pre-Covid. Supply side will be well controlled by the airlines.

For people worrying about the global macro view, do we have space here for volumes of generic posts? There are boards dedicated for investors discussing generic info on bonds and stocks. In my view, long bonds, 30 year ones are the most susceptible, and I have already been unloading them from my bonds portfolio. But in stocks, adding more lifestyles/travel and remote-healthcare stocks. I don't plan on adding much more on this board. Those of you who know me, know that I am long AC since 2012, with my largest adds in 2020 March. Cheers.
