Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:Technically the average "current" BTE shareholder is up bigThat is complete b u l l sh i t.  If you picked the very bottom than yes you have done well.  Anyone who invested pre Covid has sucked air for 10 years.  I purchased in 2014 and am down 96 percent 7 years later!  This is after averaging down on ten different occasions.  BTE is a money pit and I kept dumping more and more into it!  How can you can ignore the $50, $40, $30, $20, $10 plus crowd?  Even the $5 crowd is well under water.  No one in their right mind would keep averaging down after a certain point.  It's almost impossible for someone like me to ever see $5 again.  $2 before $3 is more likely.
