For many (most?) investors, thier ability/willingness to do adequate due diligence is limited. They often tend to rely on "gurus" advise. Especially "gurus" that they see on BNN or Youtube, who are parised by their hosts as being an "expert".
Never have I seen a true guru, pound the table that they are "all-in" on one industry or sector, let alone one particular Company...almost always they advocate for a more balanced portfolio or range of investment ideas (e.g. of some true gurus, IMO, Ray Dalio, Rick Rule, etc.).
