RE:What are you hopeful forFor me it is the excitement of the possibiility. So, thinking about a near-term takeover is exciting. However, you are right about the longer-term payoff. As more ounces get added, studies get done and permtting gets done, ANX becomes more and more valuable. So strategically, the longer-term outcome is better, but it is nice to get a bit excited about the possibility of something big happening soon.
If for example, ANX does not get a near-term buyout offer, it develops goldboro to 100-150k oz per year, another 2-3 million ounces are found towards dolliver mountain giving it a multi-decade mine life or the mill at Goldboro gets expanded to 10k+tpd after a year or two of production, Tilt cove turns up to be a big mine in itself and runs high grade through Point Rousse and Kevin and Rob leverage these revenues and their experience with adding value to take on a couple other development companies then ANX can be a very solid mid-tier producer, if not at the higher end of the mid-tiers. The market cap at that point, say with annual production of 300-400k oz per year would be somewhere around for example 3-4 billion, or around a share price of 15-20 in 3-4 years assuming minimal dilution to 200million shares, which is more than reasonable. So, the long game is better for us overall. Problem is that the majors and big mid-tiers will run these numbers as well once the PEA is out and will probably pounce.
The beauty of ANX is that there is so much upside potential, both short and long-term. I've only been in it since March of 2020 though, not like many of you who have been around for decades with anaconda and its predecessors at Goldboro.
My ultimate goal is to have the economic freedom to take a cross-country trip and visit Cemetary Hill and all the other landmarks Winedoc and the rest of you talk about and go to the Golden Tulip in St. John's and buy some piece of jewelry for my wife (and probably another one for myself) that is made from ANX gold with the profits from the ANX shares. If its 5 bucks in months or 20 bucks in a few years, either way is OK with me.
Plus, along the way, I have learned so much in the last year about geology, gold mining and investing.
