Can they deliver?
We are in the thick of the iron ore boom and they are incapable of generating a decent revenue stream out of their huge 2-million tons iron ore stockpile. If the March sales rate was of any indication it would take them 10-15 years to clear that stockpile alone, never mind the additional annual production of 500k tons. And there is the risk that the iron ore boom could not last very long. If they can’t strike while the iron is hot then what will happen to our stockpile after the boom?
If they can not even make a decent $ stream out of the readily available iron ore stockpile amid the iron ore boom, how confident are we in the success of their ilmenite / Ti project?
Paul Vollant, who was hired (effective Sept 2019) as Director of Sales & Trading with the mission to ” work to further enhance the Company's presence in the global vanadium market”, has been promoted to VP Commercial. This man is now in charge of the sales of all products from Vanadium to Clean Energy (VRFB) and everything else in between including iron ore and Ilmenite / Ti. So, with all of the added responsibilities can this busy man deliver without a bigger / more diversified sales team?
