Tinley is getting wall floweredat this prom despite the winks and nods of a steady stream of progress. Some are seeing that this is going to put out and some are choosing to ignore her.
I don't see any Canopy stuff on shelves in California yet even though they say they are coming. It ain't easy to jump through the over-regulation that comes with this type of business.
The only thing for sure is that all the signs are showing that cannabinoid infused beverages are destined to be high volume, high margin consumer skus but we won't know who is going to win the flavour and effect test until we have enough for consumers to try to compare.
Lots of other problems trying to get a level playing field as in same venue options that alcohol has. The do-gooders don't want you to be able to mix alcohol and thc or cbd for that matter and even cbd can't be packaged at the same facility in California.
A beer and a joint are an institution from my neck of the woods. I don't think mixing the two makes you go out and rape and kill!
Constellation Brands ponied up $5 billion to get a big piece of Canopy Growth for their beverage interest and they are serious businesspeople that know how to make money. Others are starting to follow their lead picking up companies that will complement their business with buyouts and partnerships
We need some legislation changes to get the level playing field for cannabinoid infused beverages before it will really rock but CBD options are making serious headway and I think the CBD will be the bread and butter and the THC, the gravy.
