RE:International Travel Boom.. ahead of Canada forecasts I think this is EXCELLENT news and a definite step in the right direction. I get too that it is frustrating for a lot of people in that the plans/roll-out seems to be changing on an almost daily basis. This is and of itself can be a little bit exhausting.
At the same time too, decisions are being made in real-time in a scenario that has never happened before. There is no precident or well-established protocols, so I think a little slack should be afforded. At the end of the day, it looks like Canadians are some of the luckiest people on the planet right now with the vaccine roll-out and adoption rates. Truly oeverall, we have very little to complain about.

First phase of vaccine certification going live in July for travellers entering Canada
The federal government plans to roll out next month the first phase of its vaccine certification program for travellers entering the country, CBC News has confirmed.
Starting in early July, a new feature on the ArriveCan app will go live, according to a federal government source with direct knowledge.
The app will allow travellers to take a photo or upload a snapshot of their vaccine documentation into the app before going through customs, the source said. CBC is not identifying the source, who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.
The prime minister met with premiers from across the country Thursday evening. Most of the discussion focused on the next steps to re-open the border, according to a senior government source. The talk was constructive and all the premiers agreed that being fully vaccinated was the key, the source said.
note: I have put every useless poster on IGNORE.. Stockhouse really needs a BLOCK like Stocktwits. In it's absence, a reasonable request.. no need to requote the useless posters (on my block list) who post more dribble quoting my post. Have no time to engage with these punters. Been here for many years and I know that these types are just bums, regardless of their pretences. Loiterers, carpetbaggers.
