what makes sense though if we imagine that this is only a scare-tactic to lower Cu price. Having said that, once the market realizes there is nothing to fear, the price will jump back with a vengeance. That would mean they shoot themselves in the foot.
all in all, I am just speculating. Don't know anymore than the next guy. There might be some temporary industrial driver in the back that we don't see and it needs just the price drop we are seeing.
