Jeez, develop a bit of patience ... the mining companies are dependent on 3rd parties, over which they have no control.  The 3rd parties are dependent on how much business they have to contend with, so even they have no real control over the amount of time before the assays are addressed, completed, and the results returned to the companies.

"waiting for assay results ... unusual"  -  not the least bit; rather, the norm.
