Suriname blocks

Suriname blocks

How happy Total must be with their deal with Apache that they just won the bid for Blocks 6 and 8 just south of their current partnership with Apache on Block 58 where they have hit 4 mammoth holes. Great for them. Chevron got the concession just south of Block 6 and right on our border. I wonder if they have any type of seismic info to go on or they are just guessing that these might be prospective. At least Total will have info from the south of Block 58 which might be useful.

Oh, wouldn't it be nice to know what the offers given by these companies for these tiny concessions.

Well, 4 more weeks, give or take, until we spud. I am very curious to see what Monday brings.

OIL_RUN, thanks for your post on the CGX/FEC debate. I agree that CGX has much more potential to run than FEC but do you think that FEC is a safer bet if we do not hit commercial oil first go around? It would seem their hundreds of millions in cash and some production that is nearing break even or is actually earning will stem the downside?
