Vanstar Mining’s Nelligan gold project joint venture with IAMGOLD (25% VSR/75% IMG), located 60 kilometres SW of Chibougamau, Quebec. Vanstar retains 25% undivided non-contributory carried interest until commercial production. Nelligan is one of Quebec’s largest gold projects containing approximately 5.6 Moz of gold. Vanstar has signed an LOI with IAMGOLD to acquire a 75% interest in their Bousquet-Odyno property. The project is 6km from IAMGOLD’S Westwood mine.

AgreeExcellent post.   There are a few of us still here that are seeing the same thing.   I have averaged 
down and am happy to hold my poisition.   I don't want to go overweight here and I keep my 
portfoilio well diversified.   Your take on VSR echoes most shareholders who have stuck
around.    My thinking is gold will need to break out above $2000 level to spark serious M&A
activity.

That will be dependant upon the FED int rates policy,  inflation and the US$ going forward.   The 
wild card for now is more drilling by IMG on Nelligan.   If they keep expanding the deposit then
at some point I would agree they either buy VSR out or another major takes the whole thing
for a substantial premium.  and that is independant from gold having to over $2000.
