Kirkland Lake’s Macassa mine....The company reported an average processed grade of 19.8 g/t gold for Macassa in Q1 2021, which was virtually unchanged compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
Macassa production numbers:

Q4 940 t/d
2019 Q1 865 t/d

Q3 932 t/d
Q4 930 t/d
2020 Q1 903 t/d
Q2 850 t/d
Q3 853 t/d
Q4 808 t/d
2021 Q1 762 t/d
The design capacity of the operation:
Name plate 2000 t /day
Just to show that when the new no 4 shaft to be in operation and the grade they have mill for the past :
In 2018 av grade was 21.6 gr/t
2019 ....................23.7 gr/t
2020.....................18.7 gr/t
2021 Q1................19.8 gr/t
Average 3 years 21,3 gr/t
or better then 19.8 gr/t from Kitko
or a production in 2023 of a potential
of as much as 447 000 ounces per year.
Should the ore reserves at Macassa to be higher production at 2000 t /day could also be increase with the new shaft capacity.
Couple with Production increase at Detour 800 000 ounces and Fosterville at 500 000 ouces for a total of 1 747 000 ounces per year.
So looking at Kirland on a longer term,
no doubt in my mind that this is the greatest mine in the world with the lowest AISC .
