If Big Investor comes they dont need to buy up shares. There will be a new structure. They just need to pay offexisting shareholders.
Existing shareholders have to be dealt with fairly. They will make a nice one time profit on their holdings. But thats it

Other reasons I have seen this type of trading is lining things up for a PP, which surely they wouldnt do at this lame duck price. And of course, there" IS" a private co in this neck of the woods who loves to keep things hush hush, both before and after any type of acquisition. They just happen to be a vertically integrated company that have the ability to fulfill many aspects of this play,...many, many aspects. And with multiple subsiduaries and lots and lots of cash in their sandbox..., With NS and Canadian elections being whispered in the wind, this could be a Coup. My only hope is they don't buy outright and take private, hence my concern for this controlled trading share price
