Yes, you are quite correct, the crux of the matter is that Trey did indeed want that listing and by hook or by crook he got it in what appears to me to be an overpriced shell of a company.

He has been on the board enumerating reasons why we should all vote for "the deal" but no matter how much lipstick you paint on the pig, the fact remains that Ely was doing fine until this obsession to get on the NYSE reared its head where everything is overpriced in a bubble kept inflated by the FED and fiat currency.

The market is still trying to make sense of what is happening or has happened and so there will be price volatility for a period.

If you like this arrangement, by all means vote for it.  Personally, I don't.
