Western Copper and Gold Corporation is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in developing the Casino Project. The Casino Project is a copper-gold mining project in Yukon, Canada. The Casino porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit is located in west central Yukon, in the northwest trending Dawson Range mountains, approximately 300 kilometers (km) northwest of the territorial capital of Whitehorse. The Casino project is located on Crown land administered by the Yukon Government and is within the Selkirk First Nation traditional territory and the Tr’ondek Hwechin traditional territory lies to the north. The Casino Property lies within the Whitehorse Mining District and consists of approximately 1,136 full and partial Quartz Claims and 55 Placer Claims acquired in accordance with the Yukon Quartz Mining Act. The total area covered by Casino Quartz Claims is approximately 21,126.02 hectares (ha). The total area covered by Casino Placer Claims is 490.34 ha.

RE:UnderwhelmingTotally agree Clark - disappointing. Worthless excercise on the PEA. You could look at old presentations and get very similar financial numbers.

Look for 25%-50% NPV or around $500M - $1000M usd or around $4-$8 per share - let's go with $5 or maybe $6.

Rio cost of capital is about 4% i believe and return on invested capital around 15%. They have $10B in cash but taking into account capex to build the mine and the equity to purchase WRN, i think you are getting close to the 15% anyway even at $6 usd/share. 

Hopefully we have reasonable BOD who also understand Rio has 15% return on invested capital currently....they are not going to overpay for the WRN equity IMHO.
