Need that EPA
Need that EPAI feel the project will cost well over one billion dollars, despite cost of wind turbines coming down. This would include the necessary initial infrastrucuture, ie: undersea cable, etc.
A lot of things have to come together to make this project a reality. And there will be those opposed. Public meetings will have to be held and a vote on it, like back in 2010.
The project requires an EPA. Maybe some environmental assessment updates.
The journey has only begun. Can energy sovereignty be achieved without the project? Or can the project complement renewable energy initiatives on Haida Gwaii?
