Not ready to call it quits yet. Not even close!
Sedimentary rocks are formed by sediment that includes minerals, small pieces of plants and other organic matter, and is deposited over time, usually as layers at the bottom of lakes and oceans. The sediment is compressed over a long period of time before consolidating into solid layers of rock. Sedimentary rocks forms layers called strata which can often be seen in exposed cliffs and mountains. Common types of sedimentary rocks include limestone, sandstone, mudstone, greywacke, chalk, coal, claystone and flint.
Drilling in the sediments is much more difficult and usually require different techniques. Depending on what the sediments are made up of, there is a good chance of drill pipes getting stuck, cores breaking off and other associated problems. I was involved with a copper company drilling in sediments and they encountered many problems with sediment drilling.
I would not give up on this company yet it is way to early for that. If they can prove up some of the historical data this will be a no brainer. They might have to skip the sediment drill holes for now and focus on the easier drilling unless they have figured out how to drill the sediments without loosing anymore holes.
I hate to see our momentum slow right down again. We were suppose to see the closing of the PP on the 21st, but due to the lack of news, interest may have slowed down. Mario might have to re-evaluate things a bit to keep the interest. If he has any good holes, maybe he should release them now instead of waiting for 5 or 6 holes.
