In the near term, there is a catalyst six months out that can lead to a massive windfall and unleash a successful wireless licensing program with both Apple and Samsung signed up. And a jury verdict and multiple challenges overcame at PTAB.
Investors might also realize there is value in the portfolio and start ascribing some value to it as well. You can get to a $6 stock price quite quickly and an analyst has already indicated that he would raise host target to that level.
And with a cash hoard of $400M and the ability to add another $300M in debt you can build a $100M earnings ITS engine at a 15X multiple.
Again with a 20% downside and a 150% near term upside and beyond, this is an excellent risk / reward. And, as we saw leading up to the VirnetX CAFC ruling, investors started pricing in the win in advance of the official ruling.
