RE:U.S to block some solar goods made in Xinjiang regionXinjiang province is responsible for half the world's polysilicon production. This is a key material in solar panels. The increasing fear looming over the U.S solar industry has been action which was rumored discussion of a ban on polysilicon and any product with it from the entire province. I am relieved to see action being taken towards a select group and not every producer in Xinjiang. Theirs no place in supply chains for forced labour and this addresses that without placing the sector in peril. I think this is less than anticipated and factored into the sectors devaluation. Notably polysilicon production is ramping up output within CHINA and outside of Xinjiang province. I.E...Jinko and JA solar are investing in a Mongolian plant which will produce 100 000 tons annually by 2023...
