Book of Revelations It has become abundantly clear that Florence won't be producing a lick of copper until the first quarter of 2023. Further, as previously stated, I won't be surprised one bit if we don't see the final draft permit for another 4-6 weeks. They may shock us with an announcement on June 30th but don't hold your breath. Personally, I want to blame them for all of the delays but that would be more of an emotional endeavor as it's really not their fault. The U.S. EPA, under the control of the O'Bidenites, certainly cares less about what any miner wants thus continuing the cycle of watching the paint dry. Further, if Taseko ends up going forward without a JV, it's understandable that they take a bit longer during the construction phase in order to bring in needed funds from Gibraltar along the way. All of this equates to our share price being directly tied to the price of copper for longer than desired. Obviously that's not to say that a copper producer's share price isn't always tied to current prices, rather our hedge mechanism is delayed....you get my drift. Many of you weren't expecting production from Florence until 2023 anyway, this post is more for those of you still holding out hope for 2022 production. Yeah, that ain't gonna happen. All this said, I'm still holding strong as I have zero doubt that the final draft permit is still coming.
