Nevada Copper Corp is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in the development, operation, and exploration of its copper project (the Project) at its Pumpkin Hollow Property (the Property) in Western Nevada, United States of America. Its two fully permitted projects include the high-grade Underground Mine and processing facility, which is undergoing a restart of operations, and a large-scale open pit PFS stage project. The Property is located in northwestern Nevada and consists of approximately 24,300 acres of contiguous mineral rights including approximately 10,800 acres of owned private land and leased patented claims. Pumpkin Hollow is located approximately 8 miles southeast of the small town of Yerington, Nevada in Lyon County, one- and one-half hours drive southeast of Reno. The Company’s wholly owned subsidiary is Nevada Copper, Inc.

Hudbay is probably going to have to learn a lot of traditional Puruvian folk dances for a few years so it's not likely they have the stomach for too much cowboy tango.

I just have the sense that a BHP or similar could buy their way into the good books by having NCI front face the whole area play with Big mining like BHP advancing the capital and the "get to it boys" to get'r all done.

All these companies have to (about time) incorporate ESG principals and plant their capital in decades long safety jusrisdictions. As many of including bog are aware (though I do not share his Fauci buy in) the world is increasing unstable from an environmental point of view and those perturdbations tend to express themselves in social movements in the regions most desparately affected. The US constitution is miles better than what any other country (including Canada) has.

Canadosians think take false comfort in the so called "repatriation" of our (non) constition and fail to acknowledge that "repatriation" only meant physically moving the British Crown's document to Canhaveanaptodayland. (Anyway, I digress... we have a mine and big companies will not only want it they kind of need it IMO.)

w NVG they are installing containments and dry stak - move habitat and monitor water/surface; his is eating into their bottom line.. but hey have a good repoir where they mine.. they have been @ it for 15 years and the communities trust them..

BHP and Rio run paper shredders gloablly.. rio also runs the mine in salt lake.. they hav had a lot of deaths and spills.. letting 4 inch acid pipes drain 6 - 10 months at a time.. true the salt lake mine is old.. but they nontheless take nothing pro-active / simply deal w it after the fact..

the shoshone cut thier teeth on RIO in Federal Court.. long battle ten years.. Rio would get a good ruling.. and the sho's would hea bak next day with a fresh batch of beagles and haul them in front of a judge as bloody stumps - complete w multi million dollar noncompliance awards to the tribes..

the tribes sued (as) under their land under federal juristictions - but seperate sovereign nations.. the tribes forced the federal goverment to collect the funds and place into tribal trust accounts..

Rio had abandoned two leaking mines on two of the tribes waterways.. the eventually forced RIO to come in and move the river and dig out the overburden they had staked mid stream..

bottom line ! there is to much anticipation..

--> i asked a couple cops at the yearington texacco - about any news on ABX taking ARC..

they laughed and told me they were on a secrete mission for god...
