Wow, that is an incredible number of shares traded in a few days, well over half the total share float. I don't think I've ever seen such a massive sell-off in a short time. Of course, some of the shares were likely traded twice, by people who jumped in with the first bad news announcement, then cut their losses on the second.
But it also means that there have been strong buyers who believe it's not over for DSM, otherwise the price could have gone almost to zero as panicky and pissed off sellers take whatever they can get.
I don't claim to know the outcome of all this, but I'm quite sure there are more developments to come. Good luck to the whole new cohort of DSM owners.
