RE:Lets start drilling
It is the 64,000 dollar question for sure electrofied. MMV have drilled the Standby project and the results are for all to see including the potential financiers that have had ample opportunity to kick the tires on the company. So far since the last assays were released MMV have been unable to raise the capital they desire.
This is just my opinion but if one looks at what DTRC did by merging with another company and rolling the stock back on a 1 new for 4 old shares, then financing the new entity for the big money ($45 million)..... one needs to maybe think that's what the financiers that have looked at MMV want as well. Maybe not a merge per say, but a reverse split in the outstanding shares of MMV before wanting to do a financing.
As it is now and looking at how long the MMV stock has traded around .20 cents financiers would want a standared 20% discount to the market price or the average of the last 10 tgrading days, maybe 30 days for the strike price as is, considering the amount of shares out now. One may draw the inference that the Bakers and MMMV management do not want to roll the stock back, and here they sit unfunded.
The project has not changed.
With DTRC from what I understand and may need to be corrected, the land area they have is around 3 miles or so from the old Homestake workings, very close and much closer than where MMV properties are (further away).
The results from drilling thus far that MMV has done thus far are what they are and one can say this and that about them, good or not so good, but if they are so great one has to ask, well why doesn't the financiers see what others see in them.
DTRC is bare bones virgin land type of thing with no results that I lknow of but in a better location maybe. DTRC have not obtained their exploration permits that I know of from water to drilling for a couple. The people behind DTRC are well seasoned and very successful people and have joined forces to form a powerhouse where money wants to back them.
Not to say the Bakers are not successful ( i.e. Rainy River) but their connections appear to be connected to a plug-in with a tripped circut breaker with no power for the last long period of time.
At this point in time I can't see big money wanting in @ .20 cents without a 1/2 or full warrant thus diluting the stock in a big way. I 'm thinking that if MMV said OK we'll roll the stock back and do a financing then there would be takers to write a cheque and provide money.
Also possible that DTRC will raise the tide thus lifting MMV with it, but it will take a long time for DTRC to get drilling and have assays to present to the market as they have not been permitted yet. They will in time for sure after raising all the money they did. I do pull my hair out wondering what MMV is doing and why they are anot able to get things humming once again.
