RE:RE:RE:RE:NEW SeekingAlpha Article QUIPT Warrants/shortingFor those that are still having a hard time understanding why $6.40 warrant shorts "can't lose" and are never sqeezed. Here is a couple examples....
1. Say they short @ $10. The stock goes down to $7.00. They "cover" on the "open market" for $7.00 and keep the warrant. They make $3.00.
2. Say they short at $7.00 and the stock goes to $10.00. They cover with the $6.40 warrant and still make 60 cents. No open market buy.
Hopefully that makes more sense to some.
The reason the stock price went up lately is because of the new buyers from the Sidoti conference and the buying at the low as some did here, knowing the warrants will expire next week.
I can't make it any simpliar than that.
