Apparently there are others who think BEP's recent share price decline is not related to the splits. I say it has been "hit", Andrew Kuske at Credit Suisse analyst saying this weekend that BEP's performance year to date has been "lackluster". No mention of splits. He upgraded the stock to outperform.
I agree with this analyst, and while I have been underinvested in BEP, I have been and will continue to buy this pullback.
Please no more pontifications on splits. I believe I have a solid understanding of stock splits.

Here's another analysis for you.
High valuation, though boasts high-quality assets. But there are better opportunities in renewables. Look at Northland and/or Boralex, which trade at a slight discount to BEP with different growth drivers (European exposure) to BEP which is capital recycling by the parent company and exposure to Latin America. Hold BEP if you already own.
