RE:RE:Why did silver go to 50 in 1980

RE:RE:Why did silver go to 50 in 1980Can anyone explain to me what "reset" is supposed to mean?? Ive been hearing that for years now from all kinds of doomsdsyers. What is there to reset? Either you honor your debts or you dont. Switching to a digital currency wont change anything. The debt will still be there. (And you cant erase all debt ..there will be a lot of very angry creditors all over the world who wont take it lying down.) In fact we already have digital currency. Nobody exchanges breifcases full of bills do they. Its all done electronically. What may be coming is the collapse of the US dollar in a hyperinflation. Just like hsppened to some countries during WW1 - WW2. If that happens itl be a long time before a new currency is brought into play. And during the ensuing crisis its gonna be very very ugly...people loosing thier businesses, thier homes, thier life savings. Probably civil unrest and war too. You cant just reset a financial system without a lot of ugly things happening. It cant be an overnight surprise. Its probably coming and those who have a stash of gold coins will be able to use them to buy assets im sure. But personally i dont wamna see that day come. Ive heard it from my grandparents how they used gold coins right after WW2 to buy property or travel Without those gold coins they would have been toast. Do we really want to see a repeat of WW2? I hope not
