RE:Glad to have sold all at $50.00 !! GLTA1hot:
I respect your trading skills but using that Fool article to justify a trade is really weak. The article tells us absolutely nothing new and is ill-timed imo.
As July approaches, we are heading into the back half of ENB's dividend cycle. If history repeats itself, which it often does with ENB, that means we will likely begin to see the typical ramp up in the share price ahead of the ex-dividend date which should be August 13th.
$50 represents a break through point for ENB. The share price has tested the $50 mark a couple of times but so far, has been unable to break on through to the other side as per Jim Morrison.
Will ENB break down the $50 barrier in the next 6 weeks. I dunno and I don't really care as I continue to keep my eye on the $4 annual dividend target that I expect we will see announced at ENB day in December 2023. By that time, I expect most if not all of the environmental question marks about ENB will be answered which should drive the yield down to or below 5% which will still be well above ENB's historical average.
My target price remains at $80. It is just a matter of WHEN, not IF.
