RE:RE:RE:Canntrust
RE:RE:RE:CanntrustNick (if that's really who you are), CTST had close to 700 employees in July 2019. They have under 300 now. To say people didn't lose their jobs is inaccurate.
I feel you were disgruntled as an entry-level employee and contacted HC not primarily due to your 'moral conundrum', but rather as a way to lash out at management for what you perceived to be unfair treatment of yourself.
The collateral damage from the CTST scandal has brought pain and misery into the lives of countless people. Only a very tiny percentage of them are actually guilty of any nefarious acts and therefore deserving of the financial maelstrom you contributed to directly. Did you really feel that the only way to re-align your moral compass was to contact HC and initiate the current chain of events? There were no other options for you in your time of crisis?
Have you ever considered that maybe it would have been more prudent to approach management with your concerns and indicate to them that you felt what they were doing was wrong, and you were thinking of contacting HC about it? That may have started a conversation that could have accomplished your goals of bringing the company into compliance and allowing people to keep their jobs. My guess is that you wanted your supervisors/CEO etc to suffer for some past personal grievance and you lashed out in what you felt to be the most damaging fashion possible.
Unquestionably, Nick, your actions contributed significantly to the harming of many innocent people and I'm not sure you fully realize that. I, for one, will never forget that.
