Because they need to wait for assay results? And in the meantime they want to drill all of the targets in the other areas. Sounds like they knew they wanted to get the assays of that area first before moving onto drilling the area with visible gold outcrop at surface.

It's good to have some skeptic in you but maybe not sceptic. YMMV
