HELP - Rights offering and U.S.-based Shareholders

HELP - Rights offering and U.S.-based ShareholdersWondering whether anyone on this board is a U.S.-based shareholder and participated in the rights offering from earlier this year.  This has been a nightmare for me trying to work through the issues and am hoping someone else has suggestions.

The shares from the rights offering have a different CUSIP from the "regular" Mineworx shares in my brokerage accounts with Fidelity and E-Trade.  Additionally, the shares show a value of $0.

I was able to work with the brokerages and ComputerShare of Canada to determine that the shares have a "Canadian 904 restriction".  My brokerages in the U.S. won't work with me to clear the 904 restriction.  Instead, they are recommending that I find a brokerage in Canada and transfer the restricted shares there.  Otherwise, I'll never be able to sell the shares.

I "suspect" that somehow something was done wrong when my shares were allocated in the rights offering.  I am hoping that someone else who participated from the U.S. can tell me that their shares are OK and don't have the same restrictions.

I'd appreciate any input.
