Canada is not the country of the uber wealthy. The top 40% fly commercial, Period. Aeroplan in Canada represents the 5 million households that have the most financial strength and spending power, not sapped by mortgage payments. Only about a third of households travel frequently by air. another third are infrequent travellers.
