I'm not a KeiithVictoria fan !
I'm not a KeiithVictoria fan !But - he has a point (damnit) - pricing on the shelf is predominant ! I believe the VERY team has been doing great things as far as Presence, Production, additions (nut cheese) - great website - expansion of production --etc -BUT- we, our company does have to put the product OTS (on the shelf) at a competitive price point - to allow buyers to justify " beans" (before beef) --- so we've got good management, expanded production, - US and Online presensence - but still - it's on the shelf which sells initially- if so sell at break even or at a loss just for customer presence and volume/education AND taste and on expanded individual product package volumes - w/marked down overheads - build a faithful product buyer base !! -- As a proud Canadian - I would rather see VERY on the local menu/ butcher shop shelves than BEYOND !! --l So Mitch - break even, even a little loss ?? - to achieve national volume and recognition - the volume of sales to match production - get the product on the shelves in Neepawa, Swift Current, Kenora and Thunder Bay at a competitive price point !!
