RE:New investor I'll just provide some resources. Not advice.

1. Review the news releases and the corporate presentation. See some of their research presentations on YouTube for how they do their work, process and how they implement AI. Their MD&A also goes into some details of how they make their money from clients and duration of their contracts.

2. Look up what NSRs are. That's probably the quickest way to understanding how their royalties work. They take payment in royalties, stock or cash. 

3. That would be up to you.

Bonus: They also publish academic papers and participate in conferences. Checking out their YouTube channel is also a good place to start.
