RE:RE:RE:SPLITS, SPLITS AND MORECSPLITSHi Rad,
I have not done anything yet with my BAMR shares as I have not had time to study it.
When we all received Trisura a couple years back, I followed Partners Value Investments and since it was buying shares in the open market in the initial months I bought a position also and it has been like an 8 bagger....wish I had bought more. It came out around $20 per share and now analysts have price targets of $200 per share....lol.
I will wait and see what Partners Value Investments does on BAMR also. It is interesting that the business kept the name of BAM in it, at least for now. If the BAM name is kept, that is a signal to me that Bruce Flatt has high hopes for it.
FYI....Partners Value Investments is where Bruce Flatt and his partners hold their like 20% in BAM shares and it is a public entity. And therefore this entity gets direct holdings of BAMR and Trisura. So most shareholders like us get odd lots and most of us just sell but Partners gets a 20% stake in a real company.
All the best,
Vette
