RE:beaten up and beaten down "under pressure" Petrofac, thanks for sharing that analyst's take. (You'd almost miss it amongs all the d*ck swinging going on here - keep it in your pants, guys). I have an issue with that analyst's argument. Of course EQX is trading at a higher EBITDA multiple than it used to: they just bought a development project (Hardrock) with shares. So I disagree with the analyst's conclusion that the stock should trade lower with peers. If it does, it will be because of the Los Filos blockade. The analyst does make a great point about Los Filos being 40% of NAV, but the stock just lost 20% on the news of the blockade, as if there's a 50% chance that the asset is lost. -- I just bought some stock after running a back-of-the-envelope NAV calculation and given these guys' track records of developing mines. I feel like the stock price is getting in a range where I might do OK even if gold prices fall further. Fingers crossed.
