RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Typical

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:TypicalLol  I must have struck a nerve.  Well then there must have been a lot of stupid ones in Elsa and surrounds up to '89.  People actually lived there year round.  Maybe I was one too.  Except that UKHM paid a lot of money, just ask the Elas Royal Bank employees when poeple cashed out.  As a matter of fact all of the locals there were lets just say very well off and liked the lifestyle.

Sure some werre transient summer/ winter workers to be sure but history shows that there was a 400+ core that actually made Elsa and area their home.  Might have been Dawson in '84/85 as there were  about 15 people left in town the last time I was In Diamond Tooth Gerties in the middle of winter.

Ps.  The UKHM miners did not stay in Mayo.  Most were in Elsa year round.  And I will tell you a personal story that some didn't even want to leave, it got so bad the company had to force minimum vacations of 2 weeks.  Solution they just went to the edge of "town" camped and came back.  LOL

If your speaking for Alex & Mara then time will tell as to if this becomes a productive mine under Alexco or some other company.

BTW: Half the island leaves for half the year, that's a stretch.  Don't see it from the Pacific Ocean view I'm looking at.  LOL

No matter to me.  :)
