RE:Help from this forumI'm afraid I'm not of much help on things like this given I'm no doctor. Not sure if he's mobile, but it never hurts to go to a large cancer-oriented hospital when you have a rare one. There is that one in Detroit in the TH1902 trial if he's close, or the centers in NY like Memorial Sloan Kettering, NYU cancer or Mount Sinai. Boston has Dana Farber Cancer Inst and Mass General. The benefit is that they see a large number of "odd" cancers and may have depth of experience. They also have the newest approaches. I'm not discounting Canada has some great centers like that, it's just that I don't know which are the cancer oriented research hospitals in Canada and he's likely consulted with the one hear him. Perhaps our friend on here dealing with his wife's ovarian knows the best Canadian ones for something rare like that.

My neighbor (a father of 5) has bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) and it sounds like things aren't going well. Would something like TH1902 work for this type of cancer? At this point it would be a hailmary play, but thought I would ask as their doctor in Canada may not be aware of the US trials
