Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

First of all.. thanks for posting this, generated some fun discussion and responses!

anyways..I'll be brief...some inaccuracies forsure that have been pointed out be others, maybe some justifiable critiques of management. Personally I don't think management has been particularly ahead of the curve but here we are and I think things are definitely looking pretty positive for bte...

are we sure we won't see a debt to ebita of 1.5 by the end of this year? I think there is a chance. If we see debt come down to 1.6bill and operating netback around 250mill...we might not quite get 1.5 but I think its not entirely out of reach.

Summary...this poster was really bent on the 5 year plan at 55...I dont think anybody is here for that...things change a whole lot at 65-70-75.
