RE:Algoma Steel Secures Iron Ore SupplyAlgoma used to mine ore in Wawa however I believe that mine is closed.  They are now dependant on ore from Minesota through US Steel.   US steel is a potential customer.  It may be at some future date plasma will become the heat source for blast furnaces and steel making but that doesnt seem to be on the table yet.
