RE:RE:WiLAN Subsidiaries Sign License Agreement with PSMCThe potential licenses are all good. Some possible high 8 figures, maybe even 9 figures in the pipeline and zero credit being given by the market. Crazy, isn't it!
However, there is another, more near term opportunity, in my line of sight. Last week IRD announced a installation e-screening upgrade in Nebraska worth $1,800,000. Now, one might ask why this could be such a pottentially big thing? Thye answer: it's replicable within existing business and is very high margin revenue.
It's my understanding that IRD has approximately 2,500 installed WIM lanes that are canidates for the Nebraska type e-screening upgrade. Based on the Nebraska NR, I'm guessing that's $100,000 - $150,000 per lane. Most of the development cost for bringing the e-screening feature to market is a sunk cost, meaning that the cost to apply the e-screening upgrade to other lanes is relatively minor, imo.
Do the math. If all lanes were upgraded, that's $250,000,000 to $375,000,000 os highly profitable revenue.
It's amazing what a $1.8 million news release can really mean. Keep an eye on this as well as Apple, Micron, Googe, Amazon, Microsoft etc.
